Community Engagement
Throughout the course of the summer season of the Sewanee Summer Music Festival season, students and faculty conduct a number of concerts in venues for the benefit of the local communities around the University of the South: Sewanee. In the 2012 season, over 7 performances were presented in areas such as Monteagle, Cowan, Beersheba, and Sewanee.

If you have an idea or event that you would like the SSMF to consider, please fill out this webform and you will be contacted to discuss the possibility of participation. For events free to the community, we ask that organizers provide funds for transportation of the students. For private events or gatherings, we ask that you donate a sum to benefit the student musicians and faculty.
