Houston, TX Live Audition for the Sewanee Summer Music Festival
On Sunday, February 17, 2013 & Monday, February 18, 2013, Anthony Kitai, Cellist for the Houston Symphony Orchestra and Katherine Lehman, the Director of the Sewanee Summer Music Festival will be conducting live auditions for the SSMF at two locations in the Houston area.
This live audition fulfills the audition requirement needed for students applying to the SSMF & for students seeking financial aid. If you would like to participate and save a lot of time as well as meet these fabulous musicians, please e mail the SSMF at ssmf@sewanee.edu to reserve a time.
On February 17 & 18, 2013, the SSMF will be at Rice University and the HSPVA
Auditions will be held at the following times and locations:
- Rice University, Room 1131 Shepard School of Music- 6100 Main St., Houston, TX 77005 (Sunday, 02.17.13 at 12:00 p.m.)
- HSVPA, Rehearsal Room- High School for Visual and Performing Arts- 4119 Montrose Boulevard, Houston, TX 77006(Monday, 02.18.13 at 3:30 p.m.)
